About rear windscreens
Most rear windscreens are toughened (tempered) glass, which breaks into small pieces rather than sharp shards. On hatchbacks, station wagons and SUVs the rear glass usually sits in the tailgate.
Rear glass often carries heating lines for demisting, and may have a hole for a rear wiper, a high-mounted brake light or printed radio antenna lines. Pickups have cab rear glass that can be fixed or sliding.
Our expert fitters can fit it at your home, office or garage, and we deliver countrywide.
Fitment considerations
- Tell us your body style — a saloon and a station wagon of the same model use different rear glass.
- Mention whether your rear glass has demister lines, a wiper, a brake light or antenna lines.
- For pickups, say whether the cab rear glass is fixed or sliding.
